The DW Chair was designed by Derek Welsh, a woodworker and furniture designer who lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. This design is consistent with his other work which relies upon classical joinery and old world construction. It is comfortable, sturdy and ideal for use as a Dining Chair or as a Desk Chair. Its compact size makes it a great fit for city apartments and offices.
The chair is currently available in high quality Burma Teak with Natural, Dark Stain and Black Finish options. There is a $130 surcharge for the Black finish example.
