These iconic examples of Finnish glasswork, by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, were designed in 1951. Sarpaneva's process began with a sandblasting technique, followed by acid washing. The set includes medium and large "Hiidennyrkki" (Devil's Fist) sculptures, and a "Hauenleuat" (Alligator Clips) sculpture. Finland, 1951.
