Hanging Wire Sculpture by Katherine Hogan, Pacific Northwest, 2019
Suspended sculpture by Seattle-area contemporary wire artist Katherine Hogan. Twelve years ago Katherine learned the technique of creating her beautiful sculptures in a workshop led by the daughter of Ruth Asawa, a world-renowned sculptor who originated the method of looping wire into forms. Katherine notably strives for imperfection in her work. Striking hung alone or in groupings.
